FREE Summer Reading Kick-off Party!

Join us this Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Peter Nordeen Park between 11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.

Visit with Smokey the Bear, jump in the FTFD Bounce House, enjoy free walking tacos & snow cones, play a couple games, take pictures at our photo op stop & get free activity books from the Michigan Learning Channel. Don't forget to register for our 2024 Summer Reading Program for children birth through 6th grade while you're at it.

This event is made possible through a grant from the Community Foundation of Marquette County & Gwinn Area Community Fund. Thank you to the DNR for sending Smokey to our party this year to celebrate his 80th birthday and to the Forsyth Township Fire Department for loaning us their bounce house.

All food & prizes are while supplies last.
