Tails & Tales Summer Reading Program 2021

Our 2021 Summer Reading Program gets started on Monday, June 21, 2021 for all ages and runs through Saturday, July 31, 2021. Several registration times for children birth through 8th grade have been scheduled. Please see our Events page or our Facebook page for details.

Children birth through 8th grade will receive a FREE book just for registering plus book bag, bookmark, reading log, stickers, BINGO sheet, and activity schedule. Prizes and incentives will be offered throughout the program with a final prize drawing being held on Monday, August 2, 2021. A full list of details will be provided upon registration.

Adults & Teens are able to participate as well. However, no registration is required. Simply let us know each time you have finished reading or listening to a book, and we will enter your name into the prize drawing. Any book completed on or after June 21st is eligible for entry through July 31st.

The Summer Reading Program is made possible in part through an $800.00 grant received from the Community Foundation of Marquette County and the Gwinn Community Fund. We would like to thank these organizations for their continued support of the library.

Gwinn Fun Daze ~ Used Book Table & Summer Reading Registration

While the Library is closed on Saturday, June 26, 2021 for Gwinn Fun Daze, you can find us in the park for our Used Book Table. The Fundraising Friends will host this event to raise funds for the Library. Gently used books & DVDs will be available for a suggested donation at Peter Nordeen Park from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Library Director will have a table set up outside the Library from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to register children for the Summer Reading Program. Please see all of the program details above. Registration is free.
