The Wrong Family by Tarryn Fisher

From the outside, Juno thinks that Winnie, Nigel, and their perfect son make up the perfect family. But when Juno moves in with them she quickly realizes that they aren’t what they seem. She tries to keep to herself and stay out of their business, but as a retired therapist she can’t help but to want to intervene. She knows it’s unethical, but she can’t stop herself from snooping and accidentally uncovering some deep secrets that the Crouch family is hiding. With her health rapidly declining, she makes some bold decisions that set the family on a path of destruction that no one sees coming. This was a wild read that kept me guessing until the end! Available at the library and through Libby. ~ Alesia

Under the Dome by Stephen King

A Lord of the Flies for adults comparison. How will a small town behave when it's completely cut off from the rest of the world? There are good guys and bad guys, plenty of panic and great storytelling. The ending is three-stars but the rest of the story is five stars. This Stephen King classic is available at the library and through Libby. ~ Leslie W.

Theo of Golden by Allen Levi

Theo of Golden is getting tons of book buzz. I don't typically jump on the bandwagon but this one was calling to me. I went in blind, which I highly recommend. Try not to let the hype influence you. Allow yourself to sink into the town of Golden and wonder right along with the town's residents- who is Theo? Why is he here? Let him befriend you the way he befriends so many others. I give this incredibly beautiful debut novel a million stars. Available at the library and through Libby. ~ Leslie M.

He would like to reconnect with this sister and niece, and wonders if Lenny will help him. Can Miles help Lenny and will she allow him to do so? This book is available at the library and through Libby.

The Spellshop series: The Spellshop & The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst

These two books are just fun reads. Spells, disasters, and love. Two different librarians who find new adventures when the city of Alessium falls to a revolution. Each going to an unknown island with magical creatures, walking talking plants & unusual humans. Not to forget casting spells when you're not a sorcerer. What could go wrong? Both books are available at the library and through Libby. Book three will be out this summer. ~ Bonnie
