Library Board Vacancy ~ Seeking Letters of Interest

The Forsyth Township Public Library and its Board of Trustees are seeking a new board member to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Donna Adams.  If you are interested, please submit a Letter of Interest to the Library no later than Friday, January 3rd, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.  Letters can be brought to the Circulation Desk in a sealed envelope or mailed to P.O. Box 1328, Gwinn, MI 49841

A board trustee's responsibilities are:
Attend all board meetings (2nd Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.).
Participate at meetings.
Be a team player. Volunteer at events.
Support Board decisions.
Advocate for the Library.
Respect the role of the Library Director.
Support the Library Director.

The term ends November 2028.  This is a great chance to serve the library and its community.

Applicants are invited to attend the board meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Meetings are currently being held at the library.
