The Maid by Nita Prose

Molly the maid is an amazing main character! Her life is tidy and regulated with a strict schedule until she finds Mr. Black dead in his bed, as she often reminds the readers. Her outlook and view of the everyday goings on is both alarming and uncomplicated. This book is both funny and sweet, with a touch of sympathy for the characters. I LOVED it! This book is available at the library and through Libby. ~ Ashley

Mercury by Amy Jo Burns

One of my most anticipated books in 2024, Mercury is a wonderful mix of drama, romance & mystery centered around a family of roofers in small-town Pennsylvania. A perfect choice for anyone wanting to lose themselves in a page-turning story. This book is available at the library. ~ Leslie M.
