Library Board Vacancy

The Forsyth Township Public Library and its Board of Trustees are seeking a new board member to fill the vacancy left by Linda Buck’s resignation.  If you are interested, please submit a Letter of Interest at the Library no later than Friday, June 9th at 5:00 p.m.  Letters can be brought to the Circulation Desk in a sealed envelope or mailed to P.O. Box 1328, Gwinn, MI 49841

A board trustee's responsibilities are:
Attend all board meetings (2nd Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.).
Participate at meetings.
Be a team player. Volunteer at events.
Support Board decisions.
Advocate for the Library.
Respect the role of the Library Director.
Support the Library Director.

The term ends November 2024.  This is a great chance to serve the Library and its community.

Applicants are invited to attend the board meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14^th. Meeting are currently being held at the library.
