January Staff Recommendations

Books we've read or can't wait to read in January:

Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson

I can't wait to read this book that just released on January 17th. It's advertised as a Knives Out mystery meets Agatha Christie. What could be more fun? ~Leslie W.

Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn

This romance releases on January 24th. I was sold when I learned that Georgie acquires an unexpected roommate described as a quiet, grouchy man who is the current town hermit. Toss in a "friendfic" diary Georgie kept as a teenager filled with future possibilities she once imagined, and I'm in for the ride.

~ Leslie M.

The Nightmare Man by J.H. Markert

Ben Bookman is a horror novelist whose nickname is The Nightmare Man. Ben's life is turned into chaos when things in his book begin to happen. As Ben would say, "I hope it gave you nightmares." ~ Bonnie

The High Notes by Danielle Steel

A story about a young woman with a beautiful voice who's fighting for the freedom to pursue her dreams. This is an inspirational novel regarding the ability & strength to defend yourself and your dreams at any and all cost. ~Erin

The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes

A kin to The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek, this story follows a displaced English lady and her epic journey of becoming a pack horse librarian in the Kentucky hills. An A+ on my reads list and soon to be a movie! ~Ashley
