2025 Summer Reading Kick-off Party

Join us for our FREE 2025 Color Our World Summer Reading Program Kick-off Party in Peter Nordeen Park. This is the first chance for children aged birth through 6th grade to register for our program. Children will choose a free book just for registering and receive a bag with our schedule of events and other items needed to participate. Families can enjoy free walking tacos, snow cones, and activities while supplies last. Weather permitting we will have the FTFD bounce house available.

In case of inclement weather, the party will relocate to the library.

Our Summer Reading Program and events are made possible though a grant from the Community Foundation of Marquette County & Gwinn Area Community Fund.

We will also have an Adult & Teen program. Registration is not required to participate for adults and teens.
