Tales From a Not-So-Friendly Frenemy (Dork Diaries #11) by Rachel Renee Russell

Not-So-Friendly Frenemy was drama-tastic! If you like drama, here’s a whole new level of drama for you. WARNING! This book review will only make sense if you have read the 10th book, Tales From a Not-So-Perfect Pet Sitter. You have been warned.

Let’s start in the tenth book where Mackenzie Hollister, the “villain” of th story, moves schools to North Hampton Hills, the most prestigious school in Westchester. We move on to our topic, the 11th book. Nikki, the protagonist, thought Mackenzie was gone for good but when she signed up for student exchange week, she had to spend a whole week with Mackenzie Hollister, and the mean girl at NHH, Tiffany Davenport. This is where the trouble comes in.

Tiffany was super nice to Nikki when she first got there as Tiffany was Nikki’s mentor. Tiffany gave Nikki advice for teachers, students, and the horses that they’d be riding in gym class for the week. But as soon as Nikki helped a science club member (or nerd as the popular kids say) she is instantly hated by the popular people. No worries though. The science club member Nikki ran into was called Patrick. Patrick invited Nikki to sit with the science club which only had four members.

Patrick told Nikki how Tiffany wanted to shut down the science club and replace it with a selfie club. The only thing to do to save the science club was get more people but the science club wasn’t well known. Nikki made it her destiny to save the science club. Read the book to find out what happens next. Dun, dun, dun!
