This class is full. We will work to offer a second opportunity.
Have you always wanted to crochet but feel like it’s a magical skill reserved for grandmas and wizards? Fear not—this class is for you! Join us for a fun, hands-on introduction to crocheting designed specifically for beginners. You’ll learn the basics, including how to hold your hook (hint: not like a pencil), make your first chain, and maybe even create something that vaguely resembles a square. No prior experience is necessary, and you don’t need to bring a thing—we’ll provide all the materials, from yarn to hooks, so you can focus on mastering the art of not tangling yourself in knots. Come with an open mind, a sense of humor, and a willingness to laugh at your first attempts (it’s all part of the process). Whether you dream of making stuffed animals, blankets, or a collection of slightly wonky coasters, this is the perfect place to start. This free class is intended for adults & teens.
This event is made possible in part through a grant from the Marquette County Suicide Prevention Alliance.
